Nothing like a thunderstorm at the beach. This one rolled in from the west — I could hear the thunder for 10-15 minutes before it started to rain. And then it came down in buckets.

And now the rain has let up and the sound of the thunder is … it’s the Doppler Effect!!

The birds are quite happy. I can hear them … wait for it … singing in the rain.
