I'm not sure you can have better ingredients for a July 4th. A shallow river that runs through your town and is just the right temperature to cool you off but not freeze you. A hot but not too hot day without a cloud in the sky. Hundreds -- no, probably thousands -- of people in the same mood you are in -- to float down the river for a couple of hours. It was a hoot to watch.


Perhaps the only improvement is to have a couple of Zac Brown songs as the soundtrack. 🤣
