I spent an amazing afternoon at the Keeneland Racetrack in Versailles, Kentucky (it’s pronounced ver-SALES in this part of the world). Tailgaters on a Wednesday morning, senior citizens out for an afternoon, businessmen having an “environmental conference,” and folks studying the odds. And burgoo- a stew-like meal in a bowl.
