A Reminder

Several friends’ voices got in my head yesterday. They gently but firmly reminded me of something. Sometimes I -- and perhaps this is true of all of us? — get so focused on a goal that I loose perspective. Somewhere along the way I picked up a bad habit that associates pursuit of a goal with seriousness and not with fun.

Hell, if you can’t have fun pursuing a goal, why pursue it?
