Just before sunrise yesterday at the Salton Sea the moon hung on the horizon. Without the benefit of a tripod to steady my camera, I used the side of a building and the breathing technique I learned watching sniper movies. If you zoom in too close on this image, you will see it is not a perfect image, but I am pretty proud I got this close!


With more practice, I might actually get pretty good at this moon rise and moon set photography. 🤪

You should be able to see a conjunction of Jupiter and Venus just before sunrise.....
