I infer that the title of your post is a reference to Andrea True's biggest hit - "More More More."
Or was it a reference to her earlier career?

Thanks for the tip on the million-dollar highway. I will check it out. Next stops for me are probably Flat Tops and Crested Butte before the snow arrives this weekend. Yikes. So hard to figure when peak will be. I’m reminded of the saying “the warmest beer I ever drank was just cold enough.” I’ve seen the aspens of the Sierra Nevada’s and they don’t compare to what I’ve seen here. This is much greater than I expected so peak must be overwhelming!

Looks from the photos like you are slightly beyond peak color. Several years ago Susan and I drove down the million dollar highway (US 550) from Ouray to Silverton during peak aspen color (late September). The night before it had snowed over 10,000 foot elevation so we enjoyed the bright yellow of the aspens and the brilliant white of a new snowfall.
If you haven't taken it, the million dollar highway drive is one of the most spectacular in the US. There are no guardrails and 1000 foot drops off the shoulder of the road! We stayed at Ridgway State Park (between Montrose and Ouray), for several days, which provides a nice base camp location to explore the million dol…
Singing career. 🤪
