Definitely lacks empathy. However, I find it preferable to engage with people who are up front with not caring about me or my feelings than individuals who slobber about how much they "care", yet soon it is evident they don't. Both types are self centered, and perhaps incapable of emotion, yet one is genuine and the other is not.
