Rainy day here in southwest Kentucky. I'm hanging out at a Loves truck stop, cleaning and organizing.

Shocking news -- I tend to wear the same clothes multiple days in a row out here. I'm not trying to impress anyone, and it is just convenient to roll out of the truck in the morning in the same clothes I had on the day before and slept in.

That being said, I was feeling pretty gross this afternoon and decided at long last to act on Don's recommendation at shower at a truck stop.

What a pleasure! I downloaded the Loves' app and reserved and paid for my shower using my phone. Cost $14. You get a PIN to unlock the door, and they provide the towels and soap. The room was clean, the shower was spacious, the water pressure was good and the water was hot. I feel like a new person. And yes, I changed clothes.

Another first in my life. Not sure why I was hesitant; I will definitely use a truck stop shower again.
