No debate on global warming is going to convince you one way or another. However, such debates can make us more informed on the positions of those who doubt global warming and those who believe the science is clear - or stated more accurately, that the probablility that man-made climate change is having and will continue to have, a detrimental effect on our world.


The video above is roughly 90 minutes. The moderator does and excellent job of keeping the debate focused. I found the debate useful -- and raised more questions for me to explore. The Comments are worth a read, too; folks aren't very kind to the people on the right-hand side of the stage.


I encourage you to read about the participants. It is important to know something about the people whose opinions you are hearing.

On climate change, what is the "left-hand sign" and "right-hand side?" If the question is whether or not it is happening, that is a technical issue, not a political one.
