I Don’t Do Instagram And Getting My Road Legs
September 19, 2020
I was asked why I don’t do Instagram. I stopped when I fell in the rut of being jealous and have never gone back. I know I miss out on a lot of posts by my friends and that’s the downside. Same for Facebook. My blog allows me to post bunches of photos and videos with inane commentary. And have some control over who sees my posts.
Jumped in the car this morning and took a spin around the hunt country - Middleburg, The Plains. I did not realize how many memories the drive would bring up. It sure is a beautiful part of the Commonwealth.
Halfway is so named because it is, you guessed it, half way between Middleburg and The Plains, Virginia.
I was in the Rail Stop one time when Jack Kent Cooke and Robert “Bob” Duval we’re having a conversation across my table.
There is some discordant about the signs in this photo. (I’m using “discordant” correctly, aren’t I?)
Beautiful little church at the corner of US 17 and I66. They were preparing for an outdoor wedding this afternoon. Couldn’t ask for a more beautiful day.
