This photo is not the best. If you look in the middle, inside of the circle you’ll see a light hanging over the middle of the intersection. I have seen a number of similar lights as I’ve wandered around the state. They seem to be on rural highways where one road has no stop sign while the other road does. I have not driven at not although I assume they the light is illuminated when it’s dark. I assume the light is for safety to let drivers know they are approaching an intersection.
I haven’t seen anything like this anyplace else.
