How do I remember? I have a button from the concert (which I don’t have with me) that distinctly says Jimmy Buffet (misspelled) U Hall February 29, 1980. I remember he played an afternoon show because it was the week of the ACC Tournament (we lost in the first round to Clemson). Alpha Mu had a party that morning so some of us skipped classes.
I can’t find the setlist but here is one he played three months later so I’m guessing this is close to the songs we heard.
What a strange choice for the encore. 🤔
I hope the Leap Day this year brings us luck against the Blue Devils Wahoowah!
