Beautiful morning here. Crisp and clear.
I had a great time in Jefferson yesterday. Walked around the area with the historical homes (and wished we still built houses like that). Visited the wonderful Jefferson Museum located in the old post office and Frderal courthouse building. So well done. They have a model train setup that must be 60 feet by 20 feet. The layout is to resemble West Texas. Amazing amount of detail. I also visited the general store in town which is worth the trip by itself.
Glad I decided to come to Jefferson and very glad I decided to spend yesterday here. Means today is moving day but I feel a bit rested. Breaking my "rule" and going to drive I 20.
