More On "Anticipation"

Wow -- amazing we turned out halfway decently after seeing the quality of the commercials we were exposed to as kids!
I can't seem to get this song out of my head. As I drove yesterday, I was thinking how Carly Simon's message in the song was while we can't help but think about the future, we "don't know nature's ways" and can't reasonably predict what will happen. We therefore should stay in the moment and realize that "we should stay right here (in the present) and appreciate how great things are right now ("these are the good old days").
Man, if only I had comprehended that in 1971!
Listening to the song again, I also wondered what the opposite of "anticipation" is. I was surprised to find so many antonyms -- a bit overwhelming. Check them out:
