My Family Wasn’t Like This One

After I emerged from my adventures on National Forest roads this morning (subject of an upcoming post), the first “town” I came to was Deadwood, Oregon. There must be thousands of jokes about living in Deadwood.


I needed to get gasoline so I stopped at the first station I saw. To enter the store you went through a bar/restaurant. They had the above sign on the door. I thought that was cool, the owners want a clean, wholesome business. When I walked in the door and looked in the corner, I saw this standee.


I am lucky Buddy was in the truck because if he had been with me he would have never wanted to leave!


Family values - check your assumptions because you just might be wrong. 🤪😎
