To me, it could be an example of onomatopoeia - the word to me sounds like what it means. “To grow or develop in a healthy or vigorous way, especially as the result of a particularly favorable environment.” Love “vigorous way” and “particularly favorable environment.”
Yes, that is a great word. I’m going to enjoy that one for awhile.
