Not sure how proud I am of this award. It means I’ve stayed at a Comfort Inn 25 nights this year. Comfort Inn’s target market is the “price-conscious traveler” which I guess is what I am since I’m by myself. Downside of CI is that I think their sheets are 100 percent unnatural fibers. Bigger fan of Courtyard by Marriott, but they tend not to be in the out-of-the-way places I travel. My empirical analysis is that Courtyards are as low as $20 per night more expensive and as high as $100 per night more expensive When they are in the same market as Comfort Inn.
Both beat the Quality Inn at Tysons Corner for comfort.
