I was reviewing my Rules of the Walkabout today. No more than 200 miles per day, no more than four hours in the truck, blue highways. There are others but these are the key ones for the first leg here. Not sure the aspens are going to wait for me at my slowpoke pace - I may need to break my rules to get to Colorado on time.

These photos, which I imagine I copyright-infringed upon (please forgive me!), are going to serve as my benchmark for my photos.

welcome back to your trail. when measuring miles, given the terrain you will be driving through, do you account for vertical distances in the 200 mile limit? hopefully you brought your calculator along for the ride to help with that trigonometry.
