This is a photo of my friends Sharon and Brian on their wedding day back in May. Sharon passed away last night from cancer. She was a wonderful person, always quick with a smile and a laugh. She and Brian loved to travel and she followed my blog offering suggestions of where to visit and offering encouragement for my walkabout.
It is not fair that she’s gone. She and Brian were a special couple, the kind that makes you wish you had what they have.
At least now her suffering is over. But we lost a really, really great person.
