Such sad news that Taylor Hawkins died at age 50. I’m not necessarily a Foo Fighters fan but over the years have seen interviews with both him and Dave Grohl. They both came across as bright lights who saw joy everywhere — and brought joy to so many. Asked what it was like being a rock star, Hawkins response was, “I’m not a rock star; I’m a professional drummer.”
He was both.
