Zion National Park

November 13, 2020

A mile or two inside Zion National Park coming in from the east is an area where the rocks have grooves cut into them. It is a surreal site - I tried to capture them with my camera.

Tom. Thanks for reading my blog! Did you see the photo for “Notom” that I posted last week? 🤪 These formations are made of sandstone so they are relatively “soft” for rock. Wind but mostly water have carve them over millions of years. Think the Grand Canyon. Nature is amazing. Hope all is well in Italia!
