I caught myself.
This morning I have spent time meditating. I found this video particularly helpful:
Sometimes I find a body scan meditation the easiest way to unhook my brain from thinking about the past and the future.
As my mind wandered during the meditation, I realized I have spent time over the past few weeks thinking about my past and my future as I drive. 99.5 percent of that time is not useful or helpful as I tend to think about the same things over and over (looking for THE ANSWER). It's exhausting!
Maybe if I start each day with a body scan meditation I can start to break this pattern I'm in.
