Holy cow. What scenery! Unfortunately it was a cloudy day, but the previous day was sunny so I won't complain. Like the experience I had in southern Utah, I really had no other option than to use an interstate to travel between Fallon and Winnemucca. The posted speed limit was 80 mph; I limited myself to 65 mph which was safe as traffic was light.
