Today I was listening to the NPR interview show, Fresh Air. Terry Gross interviewed memoirist Akash Kapur about his new book. I was struck by how articulate he is, almost as though he had the questions in advance. Really impressive.


At the close of the interview, he made an observation that shook me — it is the quote above. It shook me because he so eloquently put into words the meaning of garbled thoughts that have been bouncing around in my head.


Definitely a 2x4 moment for me.
