I enjoy playing a 9 hole course. They tend to be less manicured than an 18 hole course, although that’s not always the case. Some are par 27, some par 36 and there are a number that are somewhere in between. In rural areas, they are often pasture golf with greens that range from dirt/sand to Astroturf to furry grass to very nice surfaces.
