The heavy rain reminds me of a weekend I spent in Crescent City, California. It was this dark and heavy rain for a couple of days. It was a low point as I curled up in the back of Hi Ho Silver.

I’ve always been affected by bad weather. Is it more accurate to say I allow myself to be affected by bad weather?

I heard a baseball coach on YouTube talk about how he teaches his kids about ACE, the three things you can control on a baseball field:

A is attitude. We get to choose our attitude.

C is concentration. We get to control our focus and staying in the moment.

E Is effort. We get to choose to Charlie Hustle or a lollygagger.
