Why?

I figured I’d explain why sometimes I post on topics which appear far afield from my wanderabout.

It occurred to me that there was more going on during my journey than just visiting physical places. I found that I was curious about subjects that I only had a passing — if that — knowledge about. In a way, reading and writing about those topics just expands on the idea of a “wanderabout.” I appreciate that my takes on these subjects will be different from other people and that in itself has been part of my wanderabout. Instead of getting frustrated about disagreeing, I find that I want to explore the disagreement to understand more and better. Perhaps in a better understanding, I can find room for agreement or at least compromise.
