BOOM! This quote was a direct hit on me. I know I have said meaningful things to some people some of the time. But this quote made me think of cross words I have spoken to those I care about. The words slipped out before my System 2 had had a chance to tell me to bite my tongue. I guess in a way it makes me glad I am quiet - I have fewer words I regret hanging out there in space — or worse, in someone’s mind.
