The above is an excerpt from today's Jason Gay's column in the WSJ. He is discussing some comments made by Phil Michelson. The sentence that drew my attention was the final one -- "I guess it hits differently when you say the quiet parts out loud."


Boom -- love it. What a profound statement -- of the obvious but that is what makes it profound -- we think it but never say it. You can think someone is mad at you but when they say "I'm mad at you" it can hurt a whole lot more than you just thinking it.
