Ha! As I remember this photo, a ladder truck from the fire department drove into the Downtown Mall and the photographer climbed the ladder to get this “drone shot.” I was the only one sitting on the platform but when Shep, who happened to be there to check on things, realized what was happening he said, “Pledge, make room — I’m coming up.”

I still have a clipping up this article from the Daily Progress. In spite of being in a plastic sleeve, it is in rather poor shape. I forked over $7.95 to get access to the Daily Progress archive.
