Fun to see a rainbow this morning as I approached Canada. The bridge to Canada is named Rainbow Bridge.

I am glad I decided to go to the Canada side to see Niagara Falls -- much nicer. I was glad I was there early (before 9 am) because the crowd was starting to build, though I was easily able to find a parking space. I went to Queen Victoria Park.

My entry into Canada was a bit of an adventure. I don't think the immigration agent liked my answer that I did not already have a place to stay and that I gave a vague answer about how long I was going to stay in Canada ("about a week."). She vectored me off to the vehicle inspection area where four agents searched Hi Ho Silver. I was then questioned again again the purpose of my visit, my background, etc. It was all a bit taxing although I appreciate it is their job. Funny, one agent asked what was in my truck. I answered boxes off mostly clothes and shoes. He asked why I packed in boxes; I answered that it keeps me more organized.

I got lucky with the weather. I was supposed to be cloudy all day and I hate taking photos on cloudy days. There was enough sun however amongst the clouds that while my photos are not great, they are better than they would have been!
