I left Bandon yesterday with the intent (or is it intention?) of a three-hour drive to Paris, Oregon. I didn’t make it. I got held up by a state park, a golf course, a town called Charleston and walking around downtown Coos Bay. Those are each a good excuse for not making it to Paris yet.
Here are some photos of the scenery I saw on my drive.
















Intent and intention share meanings and overlap in use, but they are not completely interchangeable.
Both words mean "the thing that you plan to do or achieve : an aim or purpose."
