I'm not that interested in opening day. The coldest place in the world is a baseball stadium in April.
Back in the early nineties, my friend Scott Gewehr and I (both diehard Red Sox fans) went to the last three games of the season at Fenway. It turned out the Red Sox were in a tight division race with their opponents, the Blue Jays, and took two out of three to clinch it. Much nicer weather in September.

To put that in perspective, my dad went to Game 5 of the 1946 World Series between the Cardinals and the Red Sox (in Fenway) for 50 cents.
