This book is a must read. It tells the story of the lengths we have gone to in order to provide water to places that have little. It tells the story of dam building gone amuck in the United States and how much of our tax dollars were wasted.

I think most importantly it provides us the facts on how we got to where we are -- and how the future may not look too good out West.

Essential reading (or listening).
