Crystal Geyser -- Revisited

Kanab, Utah
November 8, 2020
Today is the first day I have been able to edit the photos of Crystal Geyser that I took with my DSLR. I kid of went crazy playing around with settings to see what would happen. I took some shots with a slow shutter speed to get the "white" effect and others I took with a faster shutter speed to "stop action." What follows are a sample of the photos.

I thought the texture of the deposit was fun.

If you look at the outlet of the pipe, you will see "waves." They look like the waves created when something is hot. But this water is cool. I concluded the waves must be caused by the gases coming from the well -- sulfur and CO2 at least.

The remaining photos are of the dancing water.
