I got lucky today. I discovered that the Postal Service has archives of all the documentation involved with siting every post office. (See https://catalog.archives.gov/id/68641270 ). I was able to locate the records for the post office in Paris, Kingfisher County, Oklahoma from the 1890s. Now I just need to decipher what they indicate about the location!!
