Do you know who was born in Florida, Missouri, 14 miles from Paris? Mark Twain.

And the Corps of Engineers was nice enough to build a dam to create the Mark Twain Lake and associated state park. I would camp there but it’s 88 degrees snd humid. I’m spending another night at the Lake Valley Motel for $63.

Note that there is a campground in Florida named Key West.
