Another fun 9 hole course. Short but challenging as any course is to me these days.

I hit more crisp shots which is a good takeaway. No big slices although there were some pulls which were made worse by narrow fairways lined with trees.

Swing thoughts that helped:

Take club back by turning torso

Think about the holding a tray drill on backswing. Try to keep hands low, left arm across chest and right elbow pointing toward the ground. Fight my 50 year tradition of getting my hands high.

Strong grip but not too strong.

Focus on hitting the inside of the back of the ball.

Keep my head behind the ball.

Shoulders need to tilt in downswing.

Tempo! Nice and easy swing.

Keep the right arm quiet in the downswing.

I have a tendency to leave the club face open after contact. I need my right arm to be on top of my left in the follow through.

Just a few thoughts!
