A fellow I met in Monterey told me that overnight camping in your vehicle is allowed at the vista point just across the north end of the Golden Gate Bridge. He was right. There were about 10 of us parked here overnight. First sleep in the back of the truck since I returned to California last Monday.
I didn’t sleep all that well. My Protestant/Catholic upbringing played Havoc (yes, capital H) in my mind all night awaiting the police to bang on my window and tell me to move along. My Havoc was misplaced.
