Canon City, Colorado

October 20, 2020

I drove the blue route yesterday. Colorado Route 17 is as straight as this map shows. Farm land. Poor. What an amazingly diverse geography in this state. Took a detour to Center, Colorado because... well, the name. Then took US Route 50 East from Salida winding between mountains and the Arkansas River. Gorgeous.

One of the few partly cloudy days Zi have experienced in Colorado.

Campsite just outside national park.

Right place, right time.

Seems that these "spinklers" deliver water from underneath rather than a big spray from up top.

The Arkansas River along which US %0 winds through the Rockies.
