I’ve Got A Problem

I spend too much time thinking about things I can't change. Now some of that thinking might be productive in that it leads to new insights. I won't vote for Trump but thinking about that has made me curious to understand who will and why. My curiousity has helped me to understand that some like him as a person and his values, some like the chaos he creates, some like that he comes from outside the system that they believe have failed them, etc.

The realty is who is president doesn't really affect me. Yet I allow it to.

Another problem I have is that I allow opinion pieces in the WSJ and NYT to affect me. Perhaps I shouldn't read them but I hunger for mental stimulation.

Maybe I retired too young. But I hated my last job and it dragged me down. Maybe I really ought to try and document my wanderabout. Maybe that's the mental stimulation I need.

Sorry for the scattered thoughts here. Been rather scatter brained for a few months.

The search for answers continues....

In your case you would not vote for Trump, in my case I will not vote for Biden. So we can then vote for another candidate from a lesser known party or an independent candidate. But then we are faced with a dilemma that our vote in the latter case may …

While i don't know a great deal about Dean Phillips (of Minnesota) i did like what i heard about his approach (not necessarily all his policies but that is ok) in an interview he gave last week. Makes an awful lot of common sense. Since i doubt he will be the D nominee, i could not cast a vote for him anyway as he won't be on the ballot. So that leaves me with RFK jr., WIlliamson, or Trump. I don't expect the other lesser known (or should i say publicized) candidates to be on the ballot either in November.
