In A Group Of 30 People, There Is A 71 Percent Chance At Least Two People Share A Birthday

Sounds crazy, right? This problem is known as the Birthday Problem. It is another example that demonstrates how poor our intuition is at probability.


BTW, if the group size is 23, there is approximately a 50 percent chance that at least two people share a birthday.


I probably would not have done well in a probability class! 🤪
