When I am in the mood to hear news when I am driving, I'll bounce back and forth among Fox Business, MSNBC, Fox News, Fox Hesdline News, CNN, CNBC and the BBC. It's fascinating how each covers the news in contrast to the others. I contend that each is trying to maximize shareholder cash flow (except the BBC of course). by catering to a specific audience. That's what capitalism is, right?
That's not the point of this post though. I've noticed on Fox News, there are commercials targeting people who have past due amounts to the IRS. These commercials emphasize the firm's expertise in dealing with the IRS, dangling out there the possibility of reducing your tax liability to zero. When the news comes back on, within 15 minutes there will be someone railing against Hunter Biden's "sweetheart" deal. (I still haven't read anywhere someone telling me what a "normal" deal would be. NBC Ness reported the maximum sentence he could face is 12 years, 10 of those ironically on the gun charge).
Blah, blah, blah. I just find it humorous the juxrtaposition of the commercial with Fox News reporting.
