A morning thunderstorm as the rain moves in from the south. Something lazy about a rainy day on a beach vacation. Finding it difficult to jump into anything — a workout, writing overdue emails, updating iTunes? I’m not good (despite many efforts) of being in the moment.

Listening to CCR’s “Lodi .” Reference is to a town in California. I just looked it up — it’s just south of Galt, California. I remember being in Galt — how can you forget that! Who is John Galt? Unfortunately I did not go to Lodi. And I’ll doubt I will ever get back.

Still raining. It really came down for a while. My weather app says it has rained 0.2 inches today. Given the puddles I see outside, I think that is a understatement.
