Thanks to Jack I was able to pinpoint where and when to watch the moonrise last night. Not quite a full moon — that was the previous night — and clouds just above the horizon obstructed the moon after I was able to get a few shots of the moon rising up over the horizon. While not a wow experience, I’m glad I tried. BTW, moonrise was at 932 PM at 118 degrees.

Sunrise this morning was at 625 AM and the moon set at approximately 720 AM. Photographing the moon is tough as it is a point of light in a sea of darkness. I included more photos than I probably should have to reflect how I kept trying different camera settings.

Always fun to capture dawn on the beach. There is something about it that makes me think I’ve got a fresh start.
