Today is forecast to be cloudy but snuck in a relatively clear (with the right amount of clouds) sunrise at 6:11 am. Fun how many people were on the beach to watch it.

Sunrise and sunset, at the seashore or deep in the forest, are magical moments where we can experience the awe and wonder of our primitive ancestors, without the intrusion of the modern world. One of the most incredible sunrises I ever experienced was on the edge of the Grand Canyon watching the light change on the canyon walls as shadows disappeared and beautiful colors emerged from the stone.
