I always thought Mussina was a class act when he pitched for the Orioles and even with the Yankees.. Seventeen straight seasons with 11 or more wins. 270 wins overall. Hall of Fame. Comparable to Greg Maddox?

From Williamsport, Pennsylvania, he pitched three years for Stanford. He also had scholarship offers from Penn State (football) and Vandy (basketball). Wow.

Guess what he does now? Varsity basketball coach at the high school he attended. That’s very cool.
