But doing something simply for the sake of doing something is worse than cowardly -- it means that the shootings will continue.

Sorry. I didn't mean it like that.

  1. Universal background checks as passed by the House and modified by the Senate to pass the filibuster.

  2. Tighten up secondary market transactions (perhaps that is already part of #1?)

  3. Ban on semi-automatic weapons with high-capacity magazines.

  4. If a state wants to arm all their teachers, that's the state's call.
