My Lament

Sitting on my rear today thinking of the recent news stories that were reported in such a way to provoke anger, frustration and/or fear in me -- and yet they faded from the news and I'm still here. I'm tired of getting spun up by news that for the most part does not affect me and in almost all cases, I can do nothing about. I'm tired of hearing about who might or might not run for President -- contact me a year from now and then maybe I'll care. It's tragic about the police who shot an inocennt man in New Mexico -- am I missing something or is that not something I need to know? And why do people refer to Tucker Carlson as "Tucker?" The dude is Carlson, at best.

Lord knows I'm about to be blanketed with news about the Dominion suit against Fox. Tell me what the verdict is; anything else about the lawsuit is meant to spin me up with no place to disperse that energy.

Same goes for Jordan and the Manhattan DA, MTG praising the leaker and Boebert with her rants.

I am interested in how the Supreme Court will rule on the mifepristone case -- not in the talking heads prognosticating but on the Court's decision and its logic.
