Really? The climate right? This issue is a science issue at its core, not a political one. Is it wrong for conservatives to understand the status of climate change science and support taking proactive steps now? You seem to think so.
DOE knew what it was going to get when it hired these five. A more honest approach would have been to hire a diverse group of highly qualified scientists to write a report explaining the differing conclusions on the data. Instead we get a restatement of Koonin’s book “Unsettled.”
The following months will bring responses to the report. Reasonable people will disregard those who say climate change will mean the end of humankind as well as those who say it’s nothing to be concerned with. Those who care will continue to critically read the science and take into account the Dunning-Kruger Effect.
